One hot summer’s day, a fox was walking through the woods.

어느 더운 여름날, 여우가 숲속을 걷고 있었습니다.

I am so tired, hungry, and thirsty.

나 너무 피곤하고, 배고프고, 목이 마르다.

I can’t take another step.

나 더 못 걷겠어.

Is there anything to eat?

거기 먹을 것이 있나요?

The fox found a bunch of grapes from a vine.

여우는 포도 나무에서 포도 한 다발을 발견했습니다.

Bounce! Bounce!

뛰어! 뛰어!

One more time.

한번 더.

Bounce! Bounce! Bounce! Bounce!

뛰어! 뛰어! 뛰어! 뛰어!

The fox jumped with all her might but couldn’t reach the grapes.

여우는 그녀의 모든 힘으로 뛰어 올랐지만 포도에 닿을 수는 없었습니다.

Why are they hanging so high?

왜 포도들은 너무 높게 매달려 있는거야?

There might be some grapes a little lower over there.

저쪽에 조금 더 낮은 포도가 있을지도 몰라.

Oh, ouch, That hurts.

아, 젠장, 아프다.

Why am I wearing myself out?

나 왜 이렇게 지치지?

Those grapes are not worth it!

이 포도들은 그럴 가치가 없어!

I’m sure they are sour.

나는 저 포도들이 신맛일거라고 확신해.

I’d rather be hungry than eating a bunch of sour grapes!

난 신맛의 포도 한송이를 먹느니 배가 고픈게 낫겠어!

The fox walked away and never looked back.

여우는 떠났고 절대 뒤를 돌아 보지 않았습니다.
